The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Fisher-Price has recalled more than 10 million toys and high chairs in the U.S. because they are unsafe for children.
The recall involves 2.9 million baby products that come with inflatable balls, 1 million high chairs, 120,000 Little People Wheelies ramp sets and 7.1 million Fisher-Price trikes, some dating back to 1997. The recall also involves the same products sold in Canada. More information is available below the database.

Baby products: This recall involves Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playground; Baby Playzone Crawl & Slide Arcade; Baby Gymtastics Play Wall; Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium (C3068 and H8094); 1-2-3 Tetherball, and the Bat & Score Goal. Hazard: The valve of the inflatable ball on these toys can come off and pose a choking hazard to young children. The CPSC and Fisher-Price are aware of 46 reports of incidents where the valve came off in the US and eight reports in Canada. These include 14 reports of the valve found in a child's mouth and three reports of a child beginning to choke. No injuries have been reported. What to do: Consumers should immediately remove the inflatable ball from the product and keep away from children. Do not discard the inflatable ball. Contact Fisher-Price for a free replacement kit.
Fisher Price Trikes and Tough Trikes toddler tricycles: This recall involves 14 separate models of tricycles that have either a disc-shaped or D-shaped pretend key. The pretend keys are located about 3 inches in front of the seat and protrude at least 5/8 inches above the trike's body. The trikes manufactured after June 16, 2010 are not included in this recall. Hazard: A child can strike, sit or fall on the protruding plastic ignition key resulting in serious injury, including genital bleeding. CPSC and Fisher-Price are aware of 10 reports of incidents resulting in injury. Six of the incidents required medical attention after young girls, ages two to three years old, fell against or on the protruding disc-shaped and D-shaped pretend key. Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Stand 'n Play Rampway The recall involves Little People Wheelies Stand 'n Play Rampway with model numbers T4261 and V6378. They were sold with small cars that a child can push down winding ramps. Only the purple and the green cars that are marked "Mexico" and do not have a yellow dot on the bottom are included in the recall. Hazard: The wheels on the purple and the green cars can come off, posing a choking hazard to young children. What to do: Consumers should immediately take the affected purple and the green cars away from children and contact Fisher-Price for free replacement cars.
Fisher-Price high chairs: This recall involves the Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs with pegs on the back legs intended for tray storage. The high chairs have a folding frame for storage and a three-position reclining seat. All Easy Clean and Close To Me High Chairs are included in this recall. Only Healthy Care High Chairs manufactured before December 2006 are included in the recall. If the fourth digit in the date code is 6 or less, the Healthy Care High Chair is included in the recall. Hazard: Children can fall on or against the pegs on the rear legs of the high chair resulting in injuries or lacerations. Step2 Company Push Around and Whisper Ride Buggies: This recall involved 2.5 million riding buggies because a pin attaching to the yellow knob on the handle of the buggy can loosen, causing the handle to detach from the buggy. This poses a serious risk of injury to young children. The company received 28 reports of the handle detaching; two incidents required professional medical treatment and 26 resulted in minor scrapes and scratches.
The buggies are ride-on toys. The buggy comes in various colors; such as, orange, red, blue, pink and green. The buggies have a red ?Step2? logo on the handle of the buggy. Fly Dragonfly remote controlled helicopters: This recall involved 46,000 remote-controlled helicopters distributed by Imagine Nation Books Ltd. because the rechargeable battery inside the helicopters can overheat, igniting the helicopter and posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. The company received 49 reports of the helicopters overheating, including six reports of flames coming from the helicopters, and one report of minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.
The helicopters are black and yellow plastic, measure about 19 inches long by 6 ? inches high. The helicopters have a rounded front yellow cockpit with bee decals and a narrow black plastic tail assembly. Wind chime toys: The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 600,000 wind chime toys in the United States because the toys can pull apart, expose metal rods and cause punctures or cuts to babies.
The agency also recalled 360,000 Discovery Kids animated marine and safari lamps because a defect in the lamp?s printed circuit board can cause an electrical short, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
The wind chime toys, distributed by Tiny Love Inc. in New York, N.Y. and the Maya Group Inc. in California, were sold at Toys R Us, Walmart, target, Buy Buy Baby and TJ Maxx from February 2002 through February 2010.
The company received five reports of babies pulling apart the wind chimes exposing the sharp metal rods, including a report of a minor injury to a 24-month-old baby who punctured his cheek with the rods. Consumers should immediately take the recalled wind chimes from babies and contact Tiny Love to receive a free replacement toy.
This recall involves wind chime toys sold separately, with the Gymini Kick & Play Activity Gym and Tiny Smarts Gift Sets. The charm is attached to a cord using a metal ring and cylinder and included with the sets as a separate accessory that children can attach to the toy necklace, bracelet or key chain. The toy jewelry sets containing the charm accessory were sold in a variety of styles. Spoke protector discs, required on bicycles to prevent the bicycle chain from interfering or suddenly stopping the wheel, are missing from these bicycles. The Casper the Friendly Ghost figurines are dressed as: Dracula in a red spider bag, Skeleton in a green spider bag, Devil in a purple spider bag, Mummy in an orange spider bag, Casper in a blue spider bag, and Wendy the Witch is in a yellow spider bag. Hasbro Inc. Nerf Blasters Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 Blasters because can pull the user?s skin during firing of the toy blaster resulting in injury to the face, neck, and/or chest. The company has received 46 reports of injuries aged 4 to 12, resulting in bruising, abrasions, pinching/pinch marks, blood blisters and welts.
The toy blaster is yellow with a black handle and orange plunger, trigger, and reload clip. The word ?NERF? in black lettering is on both sides of the blaster and the word ?ARMED? is indented on the orange plunger. ?RECON CS-6? is on the gray cocking mechanism. There are five interchangeable parts including the shoulder stock, the flip-up sight, barrel extension, quick re-load clip and dual-mode light beam. When upright, the MacGregor goal measures 6 feet wide by 3 feet high and the Mitre net measures 8 feet wide by 6 feet high. Each has a recalled net with squares measuring 5 inches on each side.
The fixed knot flexible openings in the soccer goal net can pose a head and neck entrapment or strangulation hazard to young children. Hobbico has received 28 reports of batteries overheating and/or melting, including 27 reports of flames and minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.
